Kathryn Bernardo Receives The Camera Obscura Award In Behalf Of ‘The Hows Of Us’
The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) under the lead of Presidential appointee Liza Diño recently held their Ambassadors Night. There, the FDCP honored different talents from and creative projects of the film and television industry. Awarded one of the highest recognitions of the evening was Star Cinema’s The Hows Of Us. Lead star Kathryn Bernardo represented to receive the award.
The Camera Obscura Award is given out to “films, filmmakers, and artists whose astounding achievements and breakthroughs have positively inspired the Philippine film industry to aspire to greater heights.”
The blockbuster movie The Hows Of Us is a Cathy Garcia-Molina–directed flick that gets real about the ups and downs of relationships. Have you seen it? It’s a tear-jerker! The movie apparently made “history in Philippine cinema by breaking the P800 million global box-office record, making it the highest-grossing Filipino film to date and proving the competitive advantage of local films in the country,” the FDCP said.
Decked in a lovely Modern Terno duo by designer Anthony Ramirez, Kathryn Bernardo accepted the award looking both sweet and sexy, modern yet traditional. It was the fitting outfit for such a recognition. Unfortunately, Daniel Padilla couldn’t make it to the Ambassador’s Night because of previous commitments. But, Kathryn held her own that night, and she owned the stage like the stunner that she naturally is.
