Veteran actor Park Byung Eun fell in love with acting after getting a taste of performing on stage during his theater days in high school. After graduating with a degree in drama from Chung Ang University, he was set to join the '90s K-pop boy group Taesaja in 1997. However, Byung Eun was not fully solved on debuting as an idol, because (according to him) he felt lacking in terms of vocal prowess. In his heart, he knew that acting was what he really wanted to pursue.

His decision to actively chase a career in acting led to a small role in the 2000 TV series Mr. Duke. More supporting roles followed until his scene-stealing performance as Japanese lieutenant Kawaguchi Shunsuke in period action flick Assassination won audiences over and sent lead roles his way.

The 44-year-old actor is keeping himself busy these days by dominating the small screen in revenge drama Eve. He is also part of the stellar cast of Decibel—one of the most anticipated movies of 2022! Read on for watchlist-worthy picks featuring Park Byung Eun!
