Lee Yoo Mi Of 'Squid Game' Gains Over Half A Million IG Followers In Just *Six Days*

Lee Yoo Mi's IG following has massively ~blown up~ in just a few days.

The South Korean actress, who is part of the Netflix original series Squid Game, only had 40,000 followers on September 18. As of this writing, just six days after the series started airing, Yoo Mi now has *607,000 followers.* Wow.

Squid Game stars Along With The Gods' Lee Jung Jae and (South Korean) Money Heist's Park Hae Soo, along with Yoo Mi, Oh Young Soo, Wi Ha Jun, Jung Ho Yeon, Heo Sung Tae, Anupam, and Kim Joo Ryoung. 

ICYDK, Squid Game is inspired by a Korean children's game that involves shapes being drawn on the ground until a winner is chosen. The dystopian thriller revolves around people who join a survival match not knowing what horrifying challenges await them. 

Yoo Mi plays the role of Ji Young in the series, who is forced to participate in the game after committing a *serious* crime. She's appeared in a host of movies and series, including the 2010 film The Yellow Sea.
