This Is How Much Money Ariana Grande's 'One Love Manchester' Concert Raised
ICYMI, on May 22, the night of Ariana Grande's concert in Manchester, 22 people were killed from a terrorist attack by a suicide bomber. On June 4, Ariana Grande flew back to the city for the One Love Manchester benefit concert, which was held to raise money for the victims of the tragic incident, but also to spread light and love.
The concert's lineup included Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, Little Mix, and more.
According to a tweet from the British Red Cross, they raised over £2.35 million, or around P150,000,000, via text and online donations during the concert. And that's without the actual ticket sales.
Considering the fact that 50,000 fans showed up to the concert, it's looking like the ~magic~ number is more than £10 million (almost P645,000,000). All proceeds will go towards the We Love Manchester fund.
As if we didn't love Ari enough, our girl re-released her track "One Last Time" as a charity single; and yes, all the money will go towards the fund as well.
