This March, make some new memories with your gal pals as we give kudos to all the strong women in our lives! And what better way to do that than with an unforgettable trip?

Check out this RedDoorz Travel Guide. From getting some R&R at Sagada to hitting the beach just in time for summer, fun adventures with your best friends could be just what you need.

Staycations are the easiest travel escapes

Destinations: Metro Manila and Metro Cebu

Going on a trip doesn't necessarily mean you have to leave town. If you and your friends are more low-key, you can enjoy board games, snacks, and a quick dip in the pool with a pajama party at a cozy hotel nearby.

Staycations are easier and cheaper to plan. Shop with your friends before checking in at this affordable hotel in Greenbelt Makati, then grab a fancy dinner at the nearby mall.

Find and heal yourself

Fancy a little soul-searching? Go on a retreat to Sagada, admire the amazing views, and take a well-deserved breather from the city.

On the way to Sagada, stop over in Baguio and stay at one of the RedDoorz hotels, where you can enjoy a comfy bed, clean bathroom, and free WiFi. Travel via bus can set you back P700 to P1,000, depending on the type of bus you're getting on. Total travel time can take up to 12 hours. You can also look into group tours if you want hassle-free transpo.

Make sure to visit the Kiltepan Peak of That Thing Called Tadhana fame, or check out Bokong Falls for a refreshing swim.

Eat to your heart's content

Destination: Vigan City, Ilocos Sur

If you’re a foodie, then a trip to Vigan City is definitely for you. With about P800 for the bus fare, you'll be in one of the world’s best-preserved Spanish colonial sites. Tickle your taste buds with must-try local food, or European, Japanese, and Western fusions.

Start your trip with some classics, like Irene's empanadas, the Vigan longganisa-sinangag breakfast plate at Kusina Felicita, or bagnet at Cafe Uno.

Go on a beach escape

Destination: Tagbilaran City, Bohol

Known primarily for the Chocolate Hills, Bohol is also home to white-sand beaches, such as the crowd favorite Alona Beach. Take your OOTDs on the shore before enjoying the underwater scenery by snorkeling and scuba diving. You can also try kayaking and jet-skiing. Don't forget to catch the stunning sunset!

Tour packages can range from P2,000 to P8,000, depending on the inclusions. Some of them include airfare, so you can just pay in one go.

Learn new watersports

Destinations: Baler, Aurora and Metro Davao

Consider trying out that new water sport before everyone else starts flooding tourist spots this summer. Baler is known for its beautiful beach and surf-worthy waves. A surfing lesson can cost around P300 to P400 an hour. You may have to pay extra for the board rental.

For an adventure you and your barkada won’t forget, Davao's white rafting activity is fast and intense, and your cooperation skills with your friends will be really tested. The watersport costs around P1,700 per person, with a minimum of 5 people per trip.
