2016 has proven to be a year full of wonderful comebacks. From fashion to TV shows, iconic trends are taking the lead again as if they never left. Below, 5 #throwback things that we’re so happy are making a comeback.

1. Brown Lips

When a certain Kardashian sister released her lipstick line, everybody went absolutely gaga. Brown lips are amazingly flattering (especially for morenas!) and give off that vintage-y yet edgy look.

2. Choker necklaces

The choker was definitely all the rage during the 90s and its impact is the same this year. Sport one with your slip dresses to add more spice to your #OOTD.

3. Braids

Who said braids are just for kids? The hairstyle made a major comeback this year, dethroning flower crowns in music festivals.

4. Crop tops

If you have it, flaunt it! Crop tops were the easiest way to go the sexy route back then and it has taken a more rock n’ roll route this year. Pair it with your high-waisted pants for that modern twist.

5. Gilmore Girls

Who doesn’t love Lorelai and Rory’s quirky life back at Stars Hollow? This year, fans of the hit show Gilmore Girls got a treat when a reboot of the show was announced. The mini-series, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will air on Netflix in November 2016.

With all these exciting comebacks, a delightful treat can just make it better. With the new McDonald's Good Times Desserts, you can savor the return of the good times with a Golden Rootbeer McFloat and Banana Crème Pie Sundae on hand!
