Here's a different kind of museum for the beauty-obsessed out there: The first-ever Makeup Museum will be launching in New York soon and it will be featuring the history of cosmetics throughout the years!

The museum will showcase a series of exhibitions that will explore the impact of cosmetics in different decades, starting with the '50s.

The first show will be called Pink Jungle: 1950s Makeup in America, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, it will put a spotlight on the said decade's makeup style and on actual belongings of iconic beauties from the era. "The museum, which is set to open in May in the Meatpacking District in New York, aims to tell the history of makeup by showcasing items from the beauty cabinets of stars like [Marilyn] Monroe, [Greta] Garbo, Audrey Hepburn, Dorothy Dandridge, and Anna May Wong."

Tickets will officially go on sale starting March 2020 and the museum is set to open in May of that year. There's already a waitlist on their website, so you'll have to sign up right now if you want to score first dibs!
