You know how you have those days when you don't want to shampoo in the morning, because bed hair is so much sexier than post-shower hair? Then you go to work or school, and by the time 3 p.m. kicks in, your scalp starts to oil up, and you feel super gross?
While dry shampoo should be an easy solution, sometimes you just run out of it!
It's annoying, right?
We'll let you in on a little secret: You can use baby powder or cornstarch to zap oil from your roots. Use your fingers to apply powder on your scalp, and then remove the excess with a paddle brush.
You have to be really patient dusting it off though, because you'll have white particles stuck to your roots for a while. The last thing you want is for you to look like you have actual dandruff.
Warning: Make sure your hair is totally dry. If you do this right after a workout and your hair is all sweaty, the particles will just stick to your roots—making it harder to remove.
