Kathryn Bernardo doesn't shy away from switching up her hair color. For the past few years, she has been dyeing her tresses in different shades of brown, from chestnut brown, chocolate brown, to bronde—all of which flatter her morena complexion. A few months ago, she also surprised everyone with her fiery red hair! This time, the 2 Good 2 Be True star is sporting a lighter hair color and it's inspired by none other than ~*milk tea*~.
Kathryn's hairstylist John Valle posted pics of her new light brown hair with blonde highlights on Instagram. "Milk tea with pearls," he captioned his post.
The actress worked with hair extension specialist and colorist Jhen Maningas Hizon to achieve this gorgeous ~creamy~ color. Meanwhile, her go-to salon, Zero 1 Story, added beautiful layers to her waist-long tresses.
We love how Kathryn's brown hair lightens when she's under the sun. It brought out the golden undertones of her complexion, too!
FYI, to achieve the milk tea-inspired hair color, your strands will have to be bleached. It can easily turn brassy, too, so be ready to stock up on sulfate-free hair products!
