How do you remove waterproof mascaras? 

While waterproof mascaras are designed to be long-lasting and smudge-proof, they require *special* care when it comes to removal. Remember, the skin around the eye area is v v sensitive.

Here are two ways you can properly remove your waterproof mascara without causing harm to your lashes:

• Use a cleansing oil - Oil-based removers are effective in breaking down the waterproof formula. Using your fingertips, gently massage the cleansing oil onto your lashes. Once you've removed the mascara, rinse your face with warm water to get rid of any residual oil. You may also use a facial cleanser to cleanse your skin.

• Soak a cotton pad - If you don't have a cleansing oil, you can also moisten a cotton pad with an oil-based makeup remover.
