Look, we love our *full-coverage* foundations, but there are times when we would gladly skip them. On hot and humid days, some formulas can feel a little too heavy on the skin and they have the tendency to melt off our faces, too.

If you want to let your skin ~breathe~, here's a foundation-free makeup routine that's easy to recreate:

1. Spot-conceal blemishes.

Instead of applying foundation, you can use a color corrector to help even out your complexion. Use a green concealer to conceal any areas with redness, including blemishes and irritations. A peach or orange concealer will help you ~neutralize~ blue or purple undertones like your undereye area. Gently blend the color corrector and then, apply your regular concealer for a seamless finish.

2. Set your base.

Keep your concealer from creasing or smudging throughout the day by dusting loose powder over it!

3. Dab a cream or liquid blush on your cheeks.

Having a pretty flush will instantly make you look ~*fresh*~ even without foundation. We recommend using a cream or liquid formula that will blend seamlessly into your skin, giving you that lit-from-within glow. Try flattering shades like dusty rose and berry that look good on *all* skin tones.

4. Brush up your kilay using a brow mascara.

Here's a trick we learned from celebs like Elisse Joson who have flawless, ~*bushy*~ arches: Before filling in your brows, brush them up with a brow mascara. This will not only keep your kilay in place but it will also help you fill in the sparse areas later on.

6. Complete your "no makeup'' makeup look with a lip oil.

Finish off your makeup routine with a nourishing lip oil. This not only adds a hint of shine but also keeps your lips ~smooth~ throughout the day.
