Goodbye, Matte! Sheer Is The Way To Go This Year

In beauty, that is.

Time to let your skin breathe!

According to, the beauty product trend that will be big this year is sheer, lightweight makeup. That’s right, it’s all about flawless, dewy, and glowing skin in 2015, so expect a ton of light-to-medium-coverage foundations (mostly serum types!), blush, lipstick, and nail polish.

If you think about it, it does make sense, since the no makeup-makeup trend will probably never go out of style, and what better way to achieve it than with lightweight makeup?

Sheer makeup means more of your skin will be seen, so remember to apply moisturizer and eye cream twice a day. If your face feels a bit dry midday, spritz on a facial mist to rehydrate.

At least for now, give your favorite full-coverage foundations and heavily pigmented matte lippies a rest. Here, we present to you some of our picks to help you get started, stat!
