The One Detail We *Missed* From Meghan Markle's Final Royal Appearance Makeup Look

It's a 'blink and you'll miss it' kind of thing!

When Meghan Markle attended the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey with Prince Harry for their final royal engagement, all eyes were on her jaw-dropping green outfit.

Wearing a dress by Emilia Wickstead and matching fascinator by William Chambers, we really didn't spot anything out of the ordinary... maybe that's because we were too busy focusing on William and Kate's body language.

Until that is, we came across a picture of Meghan with her eyes closed and spotted that she'd strayed from her usual neutral palette of brown/smoky tones.

That's one of the benefits of hooded eyes, everyone gets a surprise when you blink!

Proving that bright shades are going to be the biggest makeup trend of 2020, Meghan swapped her natural eyeshadow for bright blue, and we're obsessed.

While we're not used to Meghan wearing brights, you would have thought the obvious choice would have been a bold green to complement that outfit, which makes her choice of blue all the more revolutionary.

Rather than opting for a matte, Meghan went shimmery too, and upon closer inspection, we can see she's also wearing falsies.

Now, that's what we call a makeup lewk.


In hindsight, we shouldn't have been surprised. After all, Meghan already started her "royal rebellion" when she sported a dark berry lip last week.
