When it comes to cute makeup products, we know Korean cosmetics brands like TonyMoly, Etude House, and Holika Holika bring their A-game. But did you know that Avon actually started this trend—way before anyone else did? Girls from the late '70s to early '80s will remember these vintage lip glosses from Avon that came in the *cutest* packaging:
In the tweet, @GoblinSpice attached pictures from vintage jewelry maker Andrea Singarella's ~insane~ old-school Avon lip gloss collection. In Andrea's blog post, she mentioned that a lot of lippies came from when she was younger, and some were acquired just years ago when she became obsessed with cute lip gloss packaging. Take a closer look at the ones featured below:
Avon's Funburger Lip Gloss Compact, which contained two shades: Frostlight Coral and Frostlight Rose.
The super cute SunnyShine Up Lip Gloss Compact contained Frostlight Peach and Frostlight Pink.
Cookie lovers, this one's for you! The Chocolate Chiplick Lip Gloss Compact had a dual compartment with Clear Chocolate and Dark Chocolate.
Finally, these vintage tanning lotions in the shape of a banana, carrot, and orange are just too cute for words! Their names are LOL-worthy, too: Sunana, Carrot Tan, and Orangatan.
We'd totes buy them if they were still available today!
