A thing to know about me: I'm a big fan of cushion compacts. They're great for touching up on the go and they're extremely portable, too—bye bulky kikay kit! When I heard that Kris Bernal's brand, SHE Cosmetics, came out with the Crystal Skin Cushion, I knew I had to try it out. What further intrigued me about the product is aside from the foundation, it also had cream contour, highlighter, and lipstick!

What is the Crystal Skin Cushion?
It is a four-in-one cushion compact that comes with a multipurpose palette that contains a cream highlighter, contour, and lipstick. It is available in two shades: 23 Natural Beige and 27 Warm Beige.
How much is the Crystal Skin Cushion and where can you buy it?

For this review, I got the shade 27 Warm Beige. Upon application, I noticed it provided full-coverage, and I only needed a few taps to conceal my dark spots. The teardrop sponge also made it easy to reach the sides of my nose. The formula gave me a beautiful dewy finish—like that of a K-drama star! (Ed's note: As much as I wanted to leave it as is, I am extremely oily, so I decided to to dust on a thin layer of loose setting powder—I didn't want to look like a grease ball by lunch time!)
For my blush, I used the cheek and lip cream. It has a reddish-pink hue, and it has a slightly waxy consistency. I made sure to take some extra time to blend it on my skin. As for the contour cream, I'm not really big on carving out my cheekbones, but according to the instructions, it can also be used for your kilay or as a subtle brown liner. I lightly filled in the sparse areas of my brows with the contour cream. Then, I dabbed some highlighter on my cheekbones and the tip of my nose.
I commute to work every day in a forever jampacked MRT, so I knew it would be a great way to test out the staying power of the Crystal Skin Cushion. I also tend to sweat and my skin oils up a lot when in transit, so I really need my makeup products to be long-lasting.
I am glad to report that the Crystal Skin Cushion stayed on, even through my ~gruelling~ commute to the office. There were also times where I would accidentally rub my forehead, but I was surprised (and impressed) that my base stayed intact. As for the multipurpose palette, I really liked the lip and cheek cream. I love anything that's three-in-one, and its reddish-pink shade further sealed the deal.
My only gripe with this product is that that the cushion foundation only comes in two shades. Here's hoping that SHE Cosmetics comes out with more Pinay-friendly shades soon!
