Ever wondered why your blush never seems to stay put?
According to celebrity makeup artist Robin Black, it's probably because you piled on your powder blush without letting your foundation set first. In an interview with Allure, Cosmetic chemist Jim Hammer backs this #beautyhack by saying, “The dry powder mixes with the wet foundation and just disappears. It's kind of like dropping coffee grounds into a bucket of paint: Mixing makes them fade away.”
So instead of immediately patting on your favorite blush, let your foundation set for at least 10 minutes. Don't have time? Pat on translucent powder on your cheeks before applying blush. That way the pigments have something to hold on to. Now your flush should last you the whole day!
