If you scroll through Nadine Lustre's IG feed, you would notice that she's a huge fan of neutrals. She has a closetful of blacks, browns, and beiges—and Nadine actually has a very ~relatable~ reason why she rarely wears colorful outfits.
In Dr. Aivee Teo's vlog, the actress revealed that she has been struggling with excessive underarm sweat, which tends to leave obvious stains on her shirts.
"My issue is that I can't wear grays. I can't wear anything colored," Nadine shared. "When I sweat, it's really from here sa back. I sweat a lot."
"Wow. This is the first time we're actually talking about that," the dermatologist said. Dr. Aivee then advised Nadine to try getting a botox injection "to reduce the sweat."
ICYDK, botox injections aren't only used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. They can treat various medical conditions, including hyperhidrosis, a.k.a. excessive sweating. According to Healthline, this "refers to any abnormal sweating, such as sweating when it’s not hot. People who sweat excessively often soak through their clothing or drip sweat."
While the simplest way to tackle excessive sweating is to use antiperspirants, an armpit botox is also another effective solution. It works by temporarily paralyzing the nerves that activate the sweat glands.
Dr. Aivee noted that Nadine can get an underarm botox "every four to six months. Twice a year."
"I'm really excited to wear colored clothes," Nadine exclaimed. The entire cosmetic procedure only took around five minutes! (P.S. If you're curious about botox, here's everything you need to know.)
