1. Nose strips. The next time you’re in the drugstore, pick up a pack of nose strips. This method might be a *little* painful, but it is a great quick fix for your skin. Peeling off a nose strip is one of the BEST feelings in the world, JSYK. Tip: When you see leftovers on your nose, just use your tweezers to grab their tips and pull them out! Don't squeeze!
2. Exfoliation. Once a week, slough off the dead skin cells on your skin to prevent blackheads from forming. While newly-exfoliated skin may feel ~amazing~, doing it more than once a week might trigger oil production to make up for the dryness, and eventually lead to blemishes. If you don’t have a store-bought face scrub, you can also use a mix a bit of baking soda with apple cider vinegar to get a nice, deep clean.
3. Clay masks. Get rid of excess oil that causes blackheads by slathering on a clay mask once a week.
4. Microdermabrasion. This is the process wherein tiny crystals are sprayed on to help buff the top layer of the skin. Unlike dermabrasion, this process is less aggressive. Both are done by your dermatologist.
These are just four of the ways you can try to get your skin in top shape. Just remember that whatever happens, do NOT pick at your blackheads—you might contract nasty infections and hard-to-treat skin irritations.
