I finally found a combo of topical and oral medications that has worked pretty well, but I can't tell you how many times I've prayed for an acne cure and a magical potion to make all the skin breakouts go away. AND NOW THERE MIGHT BE.

But we found an antibody to a toxic protein that P. acnes bacteria secrete on skin — the protein is associated with the inflammation that leads to acne."

The only downside is that the vaccine is still in the testing phase and will be for the next two years. And who knows how long until in comes to the Philippines?!

So hang tight until then, and try eating these healthy foods instead of picking at your face. Because trust me when I say the only thing worse than acne are the scars it leaves behind.
