We all find ourselves scrolling through random areas of TikTok. Me? I'm currently stuck on the Queen's royal guards and learning what they can actually see through their giant fluffy bearskin hats. (And boomers think the app is just about dancing videos...)

However, the area I'm here today to tell you about is skincare TikTok.

Skincare TikTok is not only full of knowledgeable influencers who can teach you about ingredients like niacinamide and hyaluronic acid, but also solid product recommendations. (After all, this is the place where my beloved CeraVe is king.)

The latest recommendation I've spotted is a liquid exfoliator, which one user went as far as to say that it "changed her life".

@ameliaolivia09 posted a video sharing the product that had made her followers rave about her skin and think she's wearing makeup when she's actually completely barefaced.

The product in question is Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant, which Amelia claims transformed her skin from "dull, dry and boring."

If you're not familiar with this cult product and beauty editor favorite, it contains salicylic acid which helps with congestion and breakouts.

It's a much more gentle form of acid so will remove dead skin cells from the surface and within the pore without irritation, which you can experience from glycolic-packed AHA toners.

So, if you're finding your regular exfoliator too strong, or you want to inject some life back into it, it's definitely one worth adding to the wishlist.
