Whether it's via Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or a blog, we love reading beauty reviews—it's a great way to find out if a product on our wish list is worth purchasing. Our latest go-to for makeup and skincare raves and rants? All Skincare, Sometimes Shade, aka ASSS!

ICYDK, All Skincare, Sometimes Shade (or ASSS) is a Facebook beauty page that often posts reviews about products while occasionally throwing shade-slash-talking-about local issues such as inflation, the violence towards Nutriasia workers, TRAIN Law, and the recent midterm elections. (Ed's Note: In their Disclaimer page, it says, "any views, opinions, spilled tea, or shade represented in this blog are mine and not those of any advertiser, company, affiliate, or group. 'Wag kayong ma-feeling ok. While this page aims to provide general information on skincare and beauty products, this page is for entertainment purposes only.")

  • "Its key ingredients are snail extract, aloe vera extract, peptide complex, and adenosine. I honestly don't know what half of the ingredients do but my guess is they do more than our administration for the Marawi people in this day and age. It says here that it delivers ultra-hydration to dull skin, replenishing lost moisture to achieve that dewy glow. Since oily skin [ako], the only thing that needs replenishing is my hope for this country."
  • "My skin? Is gleaming. My crops? Flourishing. Wig? Snatched. Halalan? TwentyFAILteen. Boing Devilla? Magnanakaw. China shipment? TRASH. 'Not All Men?' AIN'T SHIT."

The glowing review also pointed out that this P99 sleeping mask is the "closest [dupe] you can get" for the COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream, which costs P1,100. Noted!
