Hello there! As you all may know, skincare routines aren't just limited to your face now—your underarms need some TLC, too. Committing to a regimen will make your kilikili smooth and flawless. It doesn't have to be complicated, though—just a simple cleanse and tone will do. The heart of that routine, though, is the toning or exfoliating part, aka the step that removes gunk and dead cell buildup to reveal brighter skin underneath.

Below, we list down everything you need to know about underarm exfoliation, plus the best and most gentle products to use to avoid irritation and further discoloration:

The best way to exfoliate your underarms is by *gently* swiping a peeling pad or toner-soaked cotton round on them. Make sure not to rub or tug your skin as you're doing this to avoid any irritation.

How often can I exfoliate my underarms?

It depends on your preference, but we recommend once or twice a week, especially if you have sensitive skin. Doing it every day can irritate your kilikili and you might end up worse than when you started. Eep!

The Best Underarm Exfoliation Products To Use

Because the skin on our underarms is thin and *very* sensitive, we recommend using exfoliating toners or peeling pads. Abrasive scrubs can cause too much irritation and causes friction that leads to further discoloration.
