Our hearts broke over the news of Cory Monteith’s untimely death. We fell in love with him in Glee as the jock-turned-singer Finn Hudson, and his romance with Lea Michele, both on and off screen, was every Gleek's dream come true. We can only imagine what Lea must be going through right now.
As a tribute to the young actor, we're rounding up our favorite Finn moments on Glee.
1. This shower scene.
Mr. Schuester discovered the group's lead singer when he heard Finn singing “Can’t Fight This Feeling” in the shower.
His awkwardness was always so endearing. Check out his full performance of the song below.
2. His very first performance of "Don't Stop Believing" with the original Glee cast.
3. This Journey medley gives us chills every time.
Cory's voice blends so well with Lea's. And that look he gives her before they start singing? #truelove
4. His song for Santana.
When Santana came out of the closet, Finn showed his support for his friend (whom he lost his virginity to) by serenading her with an acoustic version of Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun."
5. His last duet on the show with Rachel Berry.
The pair sang "We've Got Tonight" during McKinley High's senior prom. We couldn't get halfway through without tearing up. What a perfect final duet.
6. This is how it was supposed to end: Finn and Rachel, Cory and Lea, together forever.
In the episode "I Do," Finn reassures Rachel, "We are endgame." Cory and Lea were reportedly engaged and were planning on getting married two weeks from his death.
