Yup, it's really happening! According to Soompi, a source from IU's agency confirmed that she will be appearing in House On Wheels, a variety show starring Yeo Jin Goo. In House On Wheels, Sung Dong Il, Kim Hee Won, and Yeo Jin Goo visit various places in Korea in a portable "tiny home" and invite friends and family to join them. (FYI, you can actually stream the show on Viu!)
IU and Yeo Jin Goo previously worked together in 2019 hit K-drama Hotel Del Luna, which told the story of Jang Man Wol (IU), a woman who has been on earth for hundreds of years and who now runs a hotel for dead souls. She recruits scaredy-cat Chan Sung (Yeo Jin Goo) to help her run the place.
In a 2019 interview with Cosmo.ph, Yeo Jin Goo shared that the hardest scene to film in HDL was the one where *Spoiler Alert* Chan Sung has to part ways with Man Wol! When asked what it was like working with the cast, he said:
"We had so much fun on set. I have many good memories from shooting lighthearted scenes, but I remember how everyone had a hard time getting out of the strong emotions when shooting rather heavier scenes for Episode 16. For example, the scene where the employees thought Chan Sung was dead, and the other one where everyone was bidding farewell in front of the Samdocheon River tunnel. The cast was amazing to work with, and I hope I can work with them again!"
It looks like his ~wish~ is coming true. We can't wait for this IU and Jin Goo reunion!
