Orlando Bloom Wants to Do Another Broadway Play

The actor is keen to try another Broadway show in the future because it's a different experience from starring in Hollywood movies.

Orlando Bloom is "very happy" on Broadway.

The 36-year-old actor made his theatre debut last year after signing up for the lead role in Romeo and Juliet, and he insists he'd like to do another show in New York in the future because it's a different experience from starring in a Hollywood movie.

Speaking at the Casting Society of America's Artios Awards in New York City, he said: "I'm very happy on Broadway and grateful for the opportunity. It's very different from Hollywood and making movies. I'd definitely do it again if I found the right show."

The Pirates of the Caribbean star recently moved into a new apartment in New York after splitting from his wife of three years, Miranda Kerr, whom he shares two-year-old son Flynn with. He has insisted, however, that he will always love her.

He said previously: "We're a family. We're going to be in each other's lives for the rest of our lives. There's no question that, you know, for the sake of our son and everything else, we're going to support one another and love each other as parents to Flynn."

Meanwhile, the 30-year-old supermodel is keen to branch into the world of theatre or movies after taking inspiration from Orlando.

She said previously: "When I saw Orlando on Broadway in Romeo and Juliet, I was blown away. For someone to be able to learn all that and hold the energy to do it every day, six days a week—I have so much respect for him."
