These Are All The Shows And Films To Look Forward To On ABS-CBN In 2020

Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil's new teleserye Make It With You just started airing this week, and Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will be back together on television. Those tidbits are enough reason to get excited, but ABS-CBN has more in store for this year: The television network just dropped a trailer of their upcoming projects for 2020.

Here is a list of ABS-CBN's TV and film projects for 2020:

Television

Included in this year's TV lineup are the LizQuen drama Make It With You shot in Croatia, and military drama A Soldier's Heart starring Gerald Anderson and Carlo Aquino, which will air on January 20. Kim Chiu and Xian Lim are back as KimXi for Love Thy Woman, which also stars Yam Concepion

Bea Alonzo makes her teleserye comeback with Kahit Minsan Lang, which stars Unbreakable's Richard Gutierrez, Rafael Rosell, Hello, Love, Goodbye's Jameson Blake, and Panti Sisters' Christian Bables.

Ivana Alawi will also lead Ligaya, and love team Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber are set to star in Heart to Heart, a Japanese-inspired drama. There isn't much known about Tanging Mahal, except that it will star KathNiel. There will also be a new season of The Voice Teens, and comedian Vice Ganda is also set to have a new game show titled Everybody, Sing!

Movies

Coming in 2020 is the Antoinette Jadaone-directed film Fangirl starring Paulo Avelino. Aside from a teleserye, Kim Chiu will also star in a movie titled U Turn, and Angelica Panganiban and Ang Probinsyano's Coco Martin will star in Love or Money. Mikhail Red's zombie film Block Z starring Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia will hit theaters on January 29.

Sunod's JC Santos will also star in an ABS-CBN film titled Motel Acacia. Charo Santos-Concio has a film with Daniel Padilla titled Kun Maupay Man It Panahon (Whether the Weather Is Fine), which focuses on the aftermath of the 2013 Typhoon Yolanda. John Lloyd Cruz had a cameo in the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Culion, but it seems he's making a film comeback with Servando Magdamag, which also stars Shaina Magdayao.

Streaming

ABS-CBN's streaming platform iWant also has a roster of releases coming up in 2020. You can expect a second season of Mga Batang Poz, which follows the friendship of HIV-positive kids, and a Season 2 for Call Me Tita starring Cherry Pie Picache, Agot Isidro, Mylene Dizon, Joanna Ampil, Lorna Tolentino, and Angelica Panganiban.

More original content is hitting the platform, namely: I Am U starring Julia Barretto and Tony Labrusca, I starring Zanjoe Marudo and Lovi Poe, The Tapes starring Sam Milby and Yassi Pressman, and Sunday Night Fever starring Nathalie Hart and Diether Ocampo. If you missed Quezon's Game last year, the historical film starring Raymond Bagatsing will premiere on iWant in 2020.

There are also new series to look forward to: James Reid and Nancy McDonie of South Korean girl group MOMOLAND are starring in The Soulmate Project, and Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano are the lead stars of He's Into Her, an adaptation of a Wattpad novel. Both are expected to premiere in 2020.
