AC Bonifacio has been ~acing~ it on the dancefloor ever since she was a kid and it seems that her killer skills have landed her on one of the biggest teen shows, Riverdale. On January 2, the 18-year-old performer reposted a teaser from Riverdale's creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. In the clip, we see Madelaine Petsch aka Cheryl Blossom and AC—who's wearing the iconic River Vixen cheerleader costume!—do a little ~dance battle~ in Riverdale High's gym!
"Here's my page 1/365 submission," AC wrote on her Insta caption. "Startin off the year right w a lil sneak peek to #Riverdale Season 5!" Awesome, no?
With a little bit of scrolling on AC's account, one other post stood out from her feed—and it's a series of pics of AC posing in front of a trailer. The caption of her post, dated December 23, has nothing to do with Riverdale but it sure looks like this was her *hinting* that she was filming for the show. FYI, Riverdale has been shooting the majority of the show in Vancouver, Canada where AC is currently based.
And one look at the comments section of that post, you'd see that the replies from her celeb besties only seem to confirm our hunch! Kyle Echarri wrote "We proud of u," while Darren Espanto said, "They don't know what's coming."
Yup, we cannot wait for what's to come either! Riverdale Season 5 drops on Netflix on January 21, 2021.
