WARNING: *Minor* spoilers ahead for The King: Eternal Monarch! Don't read if you haven't seen the latest episode yet!
Many viewers may have initially watched The King: Eternal Monarch for Lee Min Ho, especially since it's his first drama after a two-year hiatus due to his military enlistment, but a lot of people have stayed after discovering the wonderful chemistry among the other cast members. You've got the strong female roles played by Kim Go Eun, Jung Eun Chae, and Kim Yong Ji. There's also the impressive trio of Lee Min Ho, Woo Do Hwan, and Kim Kyung Nam.
So far, we've seen most of them play two different roles. Most recently, Woo Do Hwan left viewers highly entertained and impressed by his on-point portrayal of Jo Yeong and Jo Eun Seob, two wildly different characters on the show. Here's a sneak peek:
If you're a serial binge-watcher of K-dramas, the child actor who played the younger version of Woo Do Hwan's characters might also seem familiar to you. Jung Si Yul, Woo Do Hwan's younger counterpart, also appeared in the 2019 K-drama Her Private Life starring Park Min Young as Deok Mi and Kim Jae Wook as Ryan Gold. The young actor played Gun Woo, the super adorable son of Deok Mi's best friend Seon Joo. So cute! Here are some photos of him with the cast of Her Private Life:
