This Pinay Wrote A Book Inspired By Her Mom's Love For Alden Richards
Nida, 66, is a mother of five and a super fan of Alden Richards. Her love for him started in 2015 when she first saw our favorite ~bae~ on Eat Bulaga! "From then naging adik na ako sa kanya. Bumili na ako ng mga magazines niya, mga posters, and I joined a fans club, Aldenites. And now I'm an Alas Angels member," she proudly tells Cosmopolitan.
There are five qualities Mommy Nida loves about Alden, namely, 1. his kagwapuhan, 2. his dimples, 3. him being God-fearing, 4. his love for his fans and family, and 5. him being "super bait." Although Mommy Nida has had the chance to see Alden, it was only from afar! Along with her fellow fangirls, she watched a block screening of Alden's 2019 mega-hit film Hello, Love, Goodbye where he was in attendance: "I saw Alden but hindi ko siya nalapitan kasi sobrang daming tao, punong-puno yung sine."
But what makes Mommy Nida's fangirling extra special is that it inspired her very own daughter, author Anne Marla, to write a book based on Alden! Anne Marla shares, "My book Hey Stranger is inspired by Alden Richards, and my mom being a fan of him. It actually came from a dream, wherein I actually met Alden Richards in real life, and then we got along...But it's mostly because my mom watches everything about Alden Richards, so I get to see him almost every day on TV, and then I dreamt about it and then this book was born."
