Fresh off the success of Hello, Love, Goodbye, Alden Richards talked about the personal growth he has experienced by doing projects outside of a love team. “In a way, blessing na binigyan ako ng chance na mag-grow personally. Masarap ang feeling na makakagawa ka ng mga proyekto na magiging proud ka sa sarili mo,” he said in a GMA News report.
Alden co-starred with Kathryn Bernardo in Hello, Love, Goodbye, an unexpected pairing considering Alden’s former love team with Maine Mendoza and Kathryn’s love team with real-life boyfriend Daniel Padilla. The movie became a blockbuster success and is now the highest-grossing film of all time in the country.
Alden will soon star in a new teleserye titled The Gift, where he’ll play a blind man. He said he considers acting and sharing his craft with others as a gift. "Binago po nito ang buhay ko, pero as much as it's changing my life, I'm changing [others’ lives] as well through the inspiration they get from the projects I make.”
