The news of former f(x) member Sulli’s passing on October 14 has shocked many people, including K-pop idols themselves.

Sulli’s f(x) bandmate Amber Liu, who left the K-pop girl group this year to focus on her solo career, announced on Twitter that she is putting her upcoming activities on hold.

As of this writing, the other f(x) members including Victoria, Luna, and Krystal have yet to issue a statement regarding Sulli’s sudden passing, but fans have left Instagram comments showing their support for the members.

It was also reported that f(x)’s labelmates Super Junior postponed the V Live broadcast for their “Time_Slip” comeback.

SM Entertainment, f(x)’s label, issued a statement sent to reporters where they said, “We are sorry to tell everyone the sorrowful and sad news. Sulli has left us.”

The agency, which also handles groups like EXO and Girls’ Generation added, “We cannot believe the situation, and we are simply in a state of grief.”

SM Entertainment also reminded the public to refrain from “spreading speculative articles or rumors” out of respect for Sulli’s family.

Sulli has been a victim of online bullying, and according to a report, Seongnam police said that the 25-year-old singer experienced “severe depression.” They added, “It seems that she took her own life but we are also looking into other possibilities.”
