Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo fear for the safety of Siargao's residents as Typhoon Odette hits the island.
The couple asked for prayers as the typhoon made landfall over Surigao Del Norte on Thursday afternoon.
Earlier, Andi shared footage of the damage even before the typhoon made landfall.
"Super typhoon Odette coming in a couple [of] hours yet trees are already falling, and no electricity," she wrote. "Hope those living near the ocean have evacuated. Keep safe, Siargao!"

"No more signal sa isla," Philmar also updated on IG Stories. "Please pray for my island home Siargao."

In the latest bulletin posted on its Facebook page, PAGASA reported that Typhoon Odette "maintains its strength" and is currently over Liloan, Southern Leyte.
Visayas and Mindanao remains under TCWS (Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal) No. 4, which is characterized by "very destructive typhoon-force winds."
We hope those affected by the typhoon stay safe and dry!
