A Quick Ang TV 101
From 1993 to 1997, Ang TV aired as a youth-oriented comedy show. It featured at that time budding talents, now pillars of Philippine entertainment, like John Prats, Camille Prats, Cheska Garcia (She wasn’t Mrs. Kramer then!), Angelica Panganiban, Claudine Barretto, and Angelu De Leon. It ran for seven seasons and solidified its identity with catchphrases like “Nge!” at the end of every joke, and the opening line which highlighted its regular timeslot “4:30 na! Ang TV na!”
