Angel Locsin just thanked friends and netizens for praying for her father, Angelo Colmenares, whom she confirmed tested positive for COVID-19 on September 12.
"Thank you for the prayers," Angel wrote in an IG Story. "I'm going to take my post down because this is something I don't want to remember. I just needed to air out yesterday."
"10 members of the fam from separate houses got COVID," Angel revealed, thanking netizens for their comforting prayers and messages. "Thank you, everyone, for being a ray of sunshine to me and my family."
Angel's September 12 upload featured a photo of her father being taken into an ambulance. "It’s been a week of feeling helpless. Imagine having [COVID-19] at 94. Now imagine being blind in unfamiliar surroundings," she had written in the now-deleted post. "So many realizations during this pandemic. We all have our battles, but some definitely more than others. To the PWDs and everyone fighting their battles alone, kapit! This too shall pass."
Angel's celeb friends gave their messages of encouragement in the now-deleted post.
"Praying for you, Daddy!" said Dimples Romana, one of Angel's closest friends. "Dito lang kaming lahat, praying for you."
"We know you’re such a fighter. Laban!" commented Iza Calzado.
Praying for the swift recovery of Angel's family!
