It's Angel Locsin's birthday! And her boyfriend, film producer Neil Arce, just did the sweetest thing. He threw a surprise birthday party for her! Neil got together Angel's family and friends to celebrate her special day.
In a series of Instagram stories, Angel shares highlights from the event. In classic surprise birthday party fashion, lights were dimmed in the party area and guests were asked to join in on greeting Angel once she enters the venue.

"Alwina fever," Angel captions one of her IG stories, which shows a band playing the South Border song "Ikaw Nga." The song became popular when she played the character Alwina in the fantasy series, Mulawin.
Celebs who were present included her The General's Daughter co-stars Paulo Avelino and Kim Molina.
Angel has also been an equally sweet girlfriend, having thrown a surprise birthday party too for Neil last month. It's been a busy year so far for the birthday girl, having hit 5M IG followers in March.
