If you're looking for some much-needed positivity in your life right now, then Angel Locsin's new show Iba 'Yan is for you! The weekly docu-reality series "highlights inspiring stories of compassion and generosity of Filipinos amid the COVID-19 pandemic." Get this: The show doesn't just recognize their good deeds but also aims to help them by supporting their causes through donations, or by connecting them to government services. (via PUSH)
"Sa pagkakataong ito, hindi po ako ang bida," Angel says in the trailer. Iba 'Yan premiered on June 14 via the Kapamilya Channel and iWant. For the show's first episode, Angel and her BFF Dimples Romana surprised a young TikToker, the owner of a shop who gave away a bike to someone in need, a PWD delivery rider, a kindhearted priest, and many others!
At present, Angel is leading the Shop & Share initiative, where celebrities donate and sell their pre-loved items to help buy testing kits for Filipinos. Earlier this year, the Philippines' "real-life Darna" also managed to raise P11 million for COVID-19 hospital tents.
