We're almost half-way into this month-long quarantine, and we've seen celebrities cope with it in many different ways. They've been catching up on their reading, watching their favorite shows, doing makeup challenges, and of course, spending quality time with their family and friends.
Well, your ever-so-wacky comedienne, Angelica Panganiban, is spending her idle time at home in a hilarious way: by playing dress-up! She's been sharing fun videos where she's seen walking around the house in super extra OOTDs—so extra, that she couldn't help but laugh at herself, too!
Here are some of her lewks so far that helped her make the small, mundane things a little more enjoyable:
For cooking: An embroidered black prairie dress
Think that your cool apron is peak cooking garb? Well, Angelica's fancy and very British look will make you think otherwise. Before preparing her meal, she slipped into a gorgeous embroidered frock that reminded us of the English countryside. "Magluluto ako ng tilapia," Angelica says as she walked out of her room and revealed her "cooking outfit."
For dinner: A blazer paired with shorts and a brimmed hat
We won't be surprised if Angelica's been watching a few shows from the recently-concluded Fashion Week for Fall 2020, as her dinner attire was so '80s! She sported a belted boxy blazer a la Saint Laurent, completing the look with shorts and a black hat. We suppose she imagined she was lunching al fresco in Paris while she was having her meal. "Kain tayo!" she says, announcing her arrival in the kitchen.
For when you're super bored: A leather jacket with skinny jeans and boots
Are you part of the legion of fans who miss watching Ang Probinsyano every evening? Well, look no further than Angelica's very own Instagram account for some action. She posted a video of her playing an action film star, doing somersaults in her living room couch. Her costume? A leather jacket, skinny jeans, and boots to really give off that bad-ass, hunt-you-down vibe.
While we are all still finding a sense of balance and normalcy during this quarantine, Angelica's Instagram posts are a friendly reminder to us all that playing dress up isn't just for kids, and it can actually be a form of therapy. So, if you don't mind, we'll go ahead now and pick out our "prepping breakfast" OOTD for tomorrow.
