Boy asked Angelica. "Na noong napanood mo, parang, 'Ano ba?'"
"Yung Four Sisters," Angelica replied, adding that she hasn't watched the film because she regretted her decision so much.
When asked why she turned down the role, which she did not elaborate on, Angelica said there had been some disagreements.
"Okay, it had nothing to do with the role," Boy clarified.
(laughs)
Angelica isn't the only star to have refused a role in the blockbuster hit. Even Toni Gonzaga, who plays Teddie in the movie, tried to back out of the project *twice* because she felt she might not do justice to the role and that she was intimidated by her co-stars, including her "sisters" in the film: Bea Alonzo, Angel Locsin, and Shaina Magdayao.
In the video, Angelica also talked about her "retirement" from teleseseryes, which she announced in April.
Angelica noted that she had made up her mind when she was still taping for the 2018 to 2019 series Playhouse with Zanjoe Marudo. But when she was offered the role in the series Walang Hanggang Paalam amid the pandemic, she accepted it. She reassured fans, though, that she still has several film projects lined up with Star Cinema and a dream project with director Antoinette Jadaone.
"Then nagbakasakali ang ABS noong in-offer nila yung Walang Hanggang Paalam na nagkataon pandemic, walang prangkisa, so parang, 'Wow, sino ako para tumanggi ng trabaho?' And yung mga taong puwedeng kumita 'pag tinanggap ko 'tong project na 'to. Sabi ko, 'Sige, challenge accepted. Game.' Yung pagod, yung naka-lock-in, yung naka-bubble kayo for kalahating taon. So parang, 'Okay na, okay na talaga.'"
