Mac Miller’s latest album The Divine Feminine included a ~romantic~ duet with his real-life girlfriend Ariana Grande, and now there’s an equally romantic video to go with it.
Released late Monday night, the “My Favorite Part” video stars Mac and Ariana as next-door neighbors who live in a very cool apartment building, or as Ariana describes it, “That time I dropped my groceries, had a bowl of Cheerios, and fell in love with my neighbor through the wall telepathically.” They make eyes at each other all the time but spend most of their time alone inside their respective units dreaming about making out with the other person. Then one day, Mac helps Ariana after she drops her groceries, and they can resist the pull no longer—well, until the song is over. After a lot of staring at the wall and pining, Mac goes to knock on Ariana’s door and end this tension, but she beats him to it and opens it first. It is extremely cute, and will make you jealous of people who have hot single neighbors instead of annoying married ones who never make eye contact.
