Hallyu fans na kinain na ng sistema ng K-pop at K-drama, where you at? If you've fallen deep into the ~black hole~ of the Korean Wave, we can't blame you, because same. By now, you've probably picked up a couple of Korean words and phrases after binge-watching dramas and playing K-pop songs non-stop. But if you plan to take it a step further and actually learn and understand the Korean language and Hangeul (the Korean alphabet), there's a course that offers a fun way to do so.
The Ateneo Korean Studies Program of Ateneo de Manila University opened a course called Hallyu Korean 1: Learning Korean Language Through K-pop & K-drama. According to the program's Facebook announcement, the course "aims to introduce learners to Hangeul or Korean alphabet, vocabulary, grammar, and expressions while learning Korean songs and watching drama clips."
There will be a total of seven three-hour sessions beginning March 28 to May 3, 2020, all for a total fee of P3,500. The deadline for registration is on March 26, 2020. And yes, the course is open to everyone, even non-ADMU students! Check out the post for the complete details below:
