Yesterday, actor Baron Geisler married his girlfriend Jamie Evangelista, a psychologist he met while at a rehabilitation center. The two had a civil wedding.
In July 2019, Baron shared his love story on Magandang Buhay. He said that it was love at first sight with Jamie, but he waited until he was out of rehab to start dating her. Jamie, who was on the talk show too, revealed that people told her Baron was “bad news,” but she didn’t judge him based on his past. “Binigyan ko siya ng chance and I figured out na hindi naman siya shallow. Matalino [siya], he’s very interesting to talk to.”
Baron and Jamie became a couple last year. Baron has said that Jamie was the one who supported him and gave him confidence again after leaving showbiz.
Baron went on sabbatical in 2017 to recover from alcohol dependence. He returned to acting through the TV show Ang Probinsyano, where he guested as the antagonist Dante versus Coco Martin’s character, police officer Ricardo Dalisay.
