A drab, dingy warehouse is the last place you could think of when you want to project "holiday glamour," the concept behind this month's cover story. But, when you've got Georgina Wilson at the center of it all, you know you can pull it off.
"You'll see that even in these locations," said Cosmo editor-in-chief Zo Aguila at the shoot, "Georgina really stood out. She's like a gem in the rough."
George was absolutely game for the shoot, the rugged setting (and disturbing smell!) notwithstanding. You would never even have guessed that she had a bleeding wound on her calf from an injury earlier that day--she posed like the pro that she is and flashed her most captivating smile. Everyone in the shoot, both male and female, couldn't help but be awed by her beauty.
To help her achieve the holiday glamour look, stylist Sidney Yap dressed Georgina in fab outfits with glitzy details like sheer, embroidery, sequins, and pops of color and metallics. Makeup artist Gela Laurel-Stehmeier kept her makeup subdued and simple, emphasizing just Georgina's eyes with a smoky, sultry look in tones of black and gray. To give her hair more bounce and volume, hair stylist John Valle added clip-on hair extensions.
