Oh no, Bryanboy is under fire after a controversial TikTok video, and ARMY is *not happy.*
It all started when a follower noticed that Bryanboy didn't post anything about BTS' V aka Taehyung, who was with BLACKPINK's Lisa and South Korean actor Park Bo Gum at Paris Fashion Week. Bryanboy, who attended the event, had previously uploaded a video where Lisa stands up upon spotting him and gives him a big hug.
"Ninang!" the netizen wrote. "You skipped Taehyung. Do you have [a] photo with V?"
The fashion blogger and socialite responded in a follow-up video, saying, "Guys naman, hindi ko po kilala yung Tae.
In the video, Bryanboy pronounced "Tae" in Taehyung's name the same way Filipinos refer to poop. He even pinned the comment, "Bukas na kayo tumae please, love you."

The post and pinned comment drew mixed reactions, from those triggered by the mispronunciation and seemingly intentional use of the Filipino term to those defending Bryanboy for simply not knowing who V is.
"Thanks for confirming that money really can't buy you class," said one netizen, to which Bryanboy replied, "At least may money. Better than no money, no class."

Another netizen, a BLACKPINK fan or BLINK, felt Bryanboy was making fun of V's Korean name.
"Blink naman ako and I don't really like ARMYs, pero sana 'wag naman ganunin yung pangalan... Nakaka-trigger din kasi 'to sa fans nila."

Another netizen explained how Bryanboy initially merely mispronounced "Taehyung" but when he said, "yung tae", it rings differently.
"He read TAE-hyung mistakenly which is understandable, but when he said, 'Hindi ko po kilala si Tae', siyempre mami-misunderstood 'yon ng iba."

Another netizen, however, saw no harm in the video, which Bryanboy seconded.
"Ninang is basically saying hindi sila close so hindi siya magfi-feeling close kay V para chikahin."
"Amen," Bryanboy responded.

In a separate TikTok video, Bryanboy responded to one of his fans' reactions to ARMY's anger.
"Ninang! Oh no, you’re gonna be hated because of this," said the follower.
In response, Bryanboy shared how he feels there are larger issues in the world that deserve more attention than his mispronouncing V's name.
"Biruin niyo, nagunaw yung mundo nila, hurt na hurt sila, oh my God."
"Gumawa 'ko ng mga video. It’s not war, it’s not famine, it’s not poverty, it’s not the oceans ang kinakagalit ng mga kabataan ngayon.
In what appears to be a final video on the matter, Bryanboy responded to yet another comment from a netizen: "Ninang!
