Yup, BTS Just Confirmed They'll Be Performing At The 2020 Grammys

BTS is leading up their much-anticipated Map Of The Soul: 7 comeback with a series of appearances in the US. It was previously confirmed that they'll be attending the iHeart Radio LIVE and will be performing their new single "Black Swan" on The Late Late Show With James Corden, both happening next week. But ARMY speculated something else was up when the boys left Seoul for LA over a week before their scheduled performances, and now we know why: BTS will be performing at the 2020 Grammys.

In 2019, BTS were presenters at that year's Grammys, but it'll be the first time that the K-pop supergroup will be performing at the awards show, so it's safe to say that this is A HUGE DEAL.

BTS confirmed the rumors with a tweet this morning, writing, "'We will be back.' Excited to perform along amazing artists at the #GRAMMYs"

BTS' Grammy performance rumors reached its peak when Ariana Grande tweeted a pic with them (sans Suga) at what is speculated to be the ~iconic~ Grammys rehearsal room.

Their involvement in this year's awards doesn't come without a bit of drama. When the 2020 Grammy nominations were announced in November 2019, people were left shookt over BTS not receiving a single nomination for Map Of The Soul: Persona even if the album was a commercial and critical success worldwide. Their good friend and "Boy With Luv" collaborator Halsey spoke about the Grammys snub with this tweet:

 The 2020 Grammys will be held on January 26 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
