It's Official: Catriona Gray Will Be Co-Hosting 'It's Showtime'

Catriona Gray's 2020 is off to a great start.

Starting January 6, 2020, the Miss Universe 2018 will be joining the noontime program It's Showtime! as one of its co-hosts. The show made a series of announcements on Instagram. It's Showtime! hosts include Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Karylle, and more.

"Madlang People!" read one its posts, featuring a sneak peek at its January 6 lineup. "Narito na ang mga pasabog na magpapaganda at magpapasuwerte sa atin this week! Maglalagablab na ang afternoon happiness mo sa Showtime!"

It looks like Catriona will be particularly involved in one of the show's new contests, Mini Ms. U, which was described as "the search for the next ABS-CBN child superstar."

According to ABS-CBN reporter MJ Felipe, Catriona's participation in the program will only be for a limited period.

"CONFIRMED: Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will be one of the co-hosts of It's Showtime starting tomorrow, Monday - for a limited engagement," he tweeted on January 5.

After passing on the crown to Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi, Catriona shortly thereafter announced that she's working on a book entitled Conquering Your Universe, which will be about her biggest life lessons and about giving back.
