Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray has decided to auction off some of her pre-loved items to help with mass testing efforts in the Philippines. On June 7, Cat took to Facebook to announce that she's auctioning off some of her pre-loved items for the Shop & Share cause, which is spearheaded by Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis.
So far, there are two items from the beauty queen: a pair of Karen Millen embellished heels and her official candidate pin for the Miss Universe 2018 competition. Catriona wrote: "The MU pin, in particular, is super sentimental to me as it secured my sash as I competed in the preliminary competition of Miss Universe 2018. But I've decided to dedicate it to a cause. All proceeds go towards aiding the government in their COVID mass testing efforts."
As of the writing of this article, the current bid on the pin is at P30,000, while the heels are priced at P16,200. You can check them out here. Celebs who have donated items to the cause include Kathryn Bernardo, Liza Soberano, and Pia Wurtzbach.
Shop & Share is "dedicated to help our fellow Filipinos who need to be tested during this COVID-19 pandemic." It aims to provide test kits to the underprivileged who are affected by this global crisis. On the shop's "opening day," the initiative was able to raise P700,000!
