Catriona Gray just revealed her latest project: Her own version of "Raise Your Flag"!

The Miss Universe 2018 announced the news on her Instagram account on May 21, Friday.

"I'm so proud to finally be releasing #RYF—a song and personal anthem of mine. The message of this song has always meant more than raising our country's flag on a universal stageit's about feeling that your dreams are VALID, that your voice MATTERS and that life is best lived when it's lived for OTHERS."

Catriona's post, which featured a snippet of the track, also included some of the song's lyrics in the caption.

"#RYF
For the ones who think they can't get somewhere.
For the ones who think no one believes in them.
For the ones who feel like giving up. "

The original version of "Raise Your Flag"—sung by KZ Tandingan—made its debut in the February 2019 tribute show Raise Your Flag For Catriona Gray. It was inspired by Catriona's super patriotic reply to Steve Harvey at the 2018 Miss Universe pageant.

"You're a singer and a musician. If you were going to write a song about your experience here at Miss Universe, what would you call it?"

"Well, you know what, Steve, as a Miss Philippines, I've always felt the love and the support of the Filipino people and I think I brought half of my country here tonight. And so I would name the song 'Raise Your Flag,' because I stand here not as one but as a 104 million Filipinos!"

Catriona's version of "Raise Your Flag" streams on music platforms beginning May 28, 2021.
