Yesterday, July 31, marked the nationwide premiere of Hello, Love, Goodbye, the much-hyped-about film starring Kathryn Bernardo and her new leading man Alden Richards. Here's the gist of the film: Hello, Love, Goodbye is about a pair of lonely Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who find love and comfort in each other in bustling Hong Kong.
The pair had to go through all sorts of preps for their one-month shoot in Hong Kong: From Kath learning how to give a pedicure and clean toilets, to Alden shedding 20 pounds for the role. And from the looks of it, all their hard work is paying off because after only one day in cinemas, Hello, Love, Goodbye, directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, has already earned a whopping P34.5 million! It *almost* beat the 2018 KathNiel box-office hit The Hows Of Us, which earned P35 million on its first day of showing.
While it clearly shows that the film's gotten support from moviegoers, all the celebs who've already seen it cannot stop raving about it! Here's proof as seen on Twitter:
A universal truth told by Angelica Panganiban: Kath and Alden are ~AMAZING~ together!
Donny Pangilinan was LEGIT blown away by the film. Fun fact: Donny's mom, Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan, is also part of the cast!
Miles Ocampo's emojis prove that she's in full support of her childhood bestie, Kath.
Juan Miguel Severo is already claiming it: A Best Actor award is *written in the stars* for Alden.
Julius Babao praised the film for shedding light on the struggles OFWs face day to day.
And Ryzza Mae Dizon is literally ALL OF US after watching Hello, Love, Goodbye. Keep the tears coming, guys! HUHU
