Channing Tatum is a man of many talents. He’s an accomplished actor, excellent dancer (tap included), skilled equestrian, doting father, and loving husband, but that’s just not enough for him. Channing still sees room for improvement, and in 2017, his New Year’s resolution is to “learn new things.” The first of these things is learning piano, as evidenced by an Instagram he shared of himself attempting to play Beethoven’s “Für Elise.” He says he’s been practicing for two and a half weeks, without the aid of a teacher. He’s no Martha Argerich, but everybody has to start somewhere!
Channing added that he plans to “get some legit lessons soon,” so he should be playing concertos in no time. And if he ever makes a third Magic Mike, he’ll be able to add some new ~muscial~ moves to his routine. If he can strip while welding, he can definitely do it while tinkling the ivories.
