Actress and GT (formerly known as Girltrends) member Chie Filomeno had a pretty straightforward answer when she was asked about a potential reconciliation with former fellow GT member and Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate, Dawn Chang.
"Parang no," she responded to reporters at Star Magic's Black Magic Halloween party, where she dressed up as Sailor Moon. "Closed na. I want to be honest. No, no, no."
"Wala na e," she said. "Kasi grabe na yung lamat na nalagay so I'd rather not be plastic about it."
In her August 25 vlog, Dawn revealed that she's no longer a member of GT.
"I am supposed to share my talent and entertain," she said. "I am supposed to give an enjoyable and memorable experience to the audience, and I feel that I am not able to fulfill those duties and responsibilities as a performer when I am with GT." She also shared that she felt she and the rest of the girls were not on the "same page."
In September, a video of GT performing went viral, after netizens commented that they were at times not moving in sync with each other.
In October, while guesting as a judge on It's Showtime!, Dawn commented on one of the participating groups' performance, "Hindi tayo puwedeng puro aura."
"I can see the technique is there," she said. "Gustung-gusto ko ‘yon, kasi ang pagsasayaw, hindi lang puro hataw. Kailangan may technique. Hindi tayo puwedeng puro aura,”
It's Showtime! host Vice Ganda totally felt Dawn was taking a jab at GT.
When asked to react to Dawn's comment on It's Showtime!, Chie felt that Dawn was disregarding the fact that she had been a part of GT.
"I think baka naman talaga para sa mga contestants yun," she said. "Pero kung sa amin, I just want to say kasi naging part din siya ng group namin. The way she talks is parang 'di siya naging part ng isang grupo."
Chie also revealed that she and Dawn are not on speaking terms, and that she and the rest of GT are currently "happy."
